We run a number of courses on bicycle maintenance and repair; places on these courses are £20 for a 2 hour class. Places are limited to 6 people so you will get proper individual attention from the mechanic. Bring your own bike along to work on.

Safety check and bike audit covering wheels, brakes and gears.
Learn the basic maintenance needed to look after your bike.
Cleaning, oiling and adjusting a bike.
How to adjust seat height and handlebars for a comfortable fit.
Advice on what to wear and helmet fitting.
What to take with you on rides for your comfort and emergencies.

Cleaning, lubricating and making adjustments to cables for sweet shifting!

Wheel Building

Wheel Building - 2 x Evenings: Monday 29th January & Monday 5th February 6-8pm

Two part course in building a wheel from scratch.
This includes spoke length calculation, lacing a 3 cross spoke pattern and how to dish & true a wheel!
