There will be twelve spaces for this first meeting. If you are interested in attending please e-mail me and Susan to confirm your spot and to let us know what you will be bringing, just to avoid any duplicate items. Theme: Local Produce
We have chosen to keep the theme very open for the first meeting, break us all in gently! So, by local produce we mean that at least one of your ingredients should be sourced from the Inverness area. You bake can really be anything. Let your imagination run wild! Sweet or savoury, biscuits or scones, bread of cupcakes. Truly bake whatever you want as long as it contains some lovely local ingredients. Also, this is not a competition. We don’t mind if you’re a professional or a complete novice, as long as you love to bake and eat! If I could give you any tips though, I’d say that savoury items are usually the least common but most enjoyed. From previous experience of baking club meetings we have usually eaten so much sugar that the savoury bakes are a delightful reprieve!
The main thing is that we all have fun so if you fancy it please get in touch to book your space!
