Acoustic Nights with Conor Heafey and friends

Conor Heafey

Guitarist singer-songwriter Conor Heafey blends rainy day folk music with catchy indie songwriting to create a unique, melancholic almost nostalgic sound. Originally from the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands Conor pursued music from a young age then in his late teens he relocated to Perth to study music where he began to pursue songwriting. Now in his early twenties Conor has experience writing music and touring Scotland, being one of the founding members of Perth based band ‘Flat Six’, and has recently embarked on a long overdue venture into a singer-songwriter solo project.

Currently Conor is working on his debut self-released EP titled; ‘The Game’ which will be available to stream and download across all major online music platforms from the 1st of May 2017.

Katie and Morven

Katie and Morven are two young girls that play acoustic folk music together. Last year they spent some time recording Katie’s EP and touring Scotland. Katie and Morven play a mixture of well known covers and originals. Their music resembles artist such as Lucy Rose and Daughter. With flute and angelic voices they are nice easy listening.

Jamie Bacon

A small-town guy from the Highlands trying to make his mark in the Scottish music scene, Jamie Bacon has been writing his own material since the age of twelve. With influence from the likes of Ben Howard, Biffy Clyro, Bon Iver and The Staves, Jamie Bacon carries an ambient soft rock/indie folk sound and humble air. The singer and his guitar can be found performing in Central Scotland, creating a serene atmosphere with his low riffs and husky, smooth voice.

‘My music is basically me offloading the confusion in my head - my songs are often about home and missing people. I feel like my music calls out to those who just fancy a good cry!’
