Ness Book Fest | Claire Askew

Claire Askew is a poet and fiction writer whose work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Guardian, The Herald, The Edinburgh Review and the Scottish Poetry Library’s Best Scottish Poems anthologies.  Her debut poetry collection, This changes things, was published by Bloodaxe in 2016 and shortlisted for the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award, the Saltire First Book Award, and the Seamus Heaney Centre Poetry Prize.  Claire’s debut novel, currently titled All the hidden truths, won the 2016 Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize and will be published by Hodder & Staughton in June 2018.  Find Claire on Twitter @onenightstanzas.
